“Part of the journey is the end.”

That’s what we don’t realize, do we? We get so engrossed in enjoying the
amazing ride that we often forget that this amazing ride has to end. Hence, this
statement by Tony Stark at the end of Avengers: Endgame is a major life lesson.

With this blockbuster movie, Avengers: Endgame, the 11-year old saga of 22
movies has sadly come to an end. What does this exactly mean? Well firstly, that
the storyline of infinity stones has now ended and secondly, that the original six
Avengers who were in the first Avengers movie (2012) will most likely, never
return again (except Natasha Romanoff who will appear in her standalone movie
which will be a prequel and NOT a sequel). So, that is the major reason that this
movie really feels like an heartbreaking ending to a marvelous and wonderful ride
because so many of the Marvel fans like me will lose their favourite superheroes
forever like Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor. We have spent so many years
following these characters, cheering for them, laughing at their jokes and crying
at their pains, that they had become a major part of our lives and to move
forward in our lives now without them seems like such a daunting task. We are
definitely not ready to say goodbyes to these characters but unfortunately,
Endgame kind of thrusts those goodbyes upon us and we have to accept the way
it is.

Now, moving on from the tear-jerking part, Endgame really exceeded all
expectations and this final movie in the Infinity stones saga does everything it can
to give you a great time. If you are a Marvel fan and you have followed the
journey of main characters from the beginning, then there are a lot of blasts from
the past that you will certainly love. Without spoiling anything, all I can tell you is
that all the major characters will have a taste of their past lives especially, Tony
Stark, Steve Rogers, and Thor and you will definitely become a bit sentimental for
them. And there are also scenes that will make you nostalgic of the old MCU
movies that you have loved so much and your heart will definitely feel giddy as
well as sad in those scenes. There are also cameos from some of your favourite
characters (particularly someone who is the God of Mischief).

If Infinity War was a movie about Thanos, then Endgame is a movie about the
original Avengers, even Hawkeye (Hawkeye finally got the attention he deserves).
There is also an amazing battle scene in the end that will give you goosebumps
and will keep you at the edge of your seats. Really it is so hard to tell anyone how
mind-blowing this movie was, without spoiling anything! All I can say in the end is
that this movie made me smile, it made me laugh, it made me scream and shout
at the top of my lungs, and it made me cry…a lot!
