In this scorching heat of India, it is obvious for everybody to take a break from their mundane and monotonous life sometimes and have a few chilled drinks. So here in this article I am providing you hard working people with some very easy recipes of non-alcoholic mocktails that will make you feel alive again.

1. Virgin Mint Cucumber Mojito

This drink will surely make your day fresh and energetic with only household items, nothing fancy. A tangy and fruity flavour will be perfect for your hot evenings to get going after this mocktail break.

Preperation time:- 3-5 mins

Cooking time:- less than 2 mins

Person served:- 2 glasses

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup of mint leaves(pudina)

  • 8 green cucumber slices(unpeeled)

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 4 lemon slices

  • 2 pinches of salt

  • 2 cups of chilled soda

  • 6 ice cubes

Preperation-

  1. combine the lemon slices, mint leaves and sugar and mix it together for 2-3 mins

  2. in a deep bowl, transfer the mixture adding salt and chilled soda and mix well

  3. add 4 cucumber slices with 4 ice cubes in 2 glasses each

  4. pour the drink from the bowl and serve immediately.

2. Pineapple punch

If you are a pineapple lover and want to taste both your loved fruit along with refreshing soda then this must be the right choice for you. A sweet flavoured chilled mocktails suited both for guests and yourself.

Ingredients

  • basil leaves 100 gms(tulsi)

  • 6 pineapple chunks

  • lime juice (15 ml)

  • sugar syrup(15 ml)

  • 2 cups of chilled soda

Preperation time:- 3-5 mins

Cooking time:- less than 2 mins

Person served:- 2 glasses

Ingredients

  1. Muddle all the ingredients together except the soda

  2. once combined let the pineapple juices flow

  3. add the soda along with the pineapple chunks

  4. garnish with basil leaves.

3. Orange Lagoon Mojito

This mocktail will quench both your thirst for something chilly and refreshing as well as a hint of tangy flavour from the orange pulp in it, cause there is a mocktail for all mood and all seasons.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh orange juice

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 cup fresh and chilled soda

  • sugar(if required)

  • few mint leaves(pudina)

  • 4-5 ice cubes

Preperation-

  1. mix the orange juice along with lemon juice in a mixing bowl

  2. put ice cubes in two glasses and half fill it with the mixture

  3. fill the glasses with chilled soda

  4. crush mint leaves by hand and add the juice with more ice cubes if needed.

5. Pina Colada

Though it comes with a fancy name indeed but making it is rather easy. Be the guests or anybody, here is another mocktail that can be enjoyes with everybody at home, children too.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas

  • 1 cup of fresh pineapple diced

  • 1 cup of pineapple juice

  • 1/2 cup of coconut milk

  • 3-4 ice cubes

  • pineapple wedges

Preperation-

  1. In a blender or grinder, blend banana, pineapple pieces, pineapple juice, ice and coconut milk.

  2. pour the mixture into 2 glasses and add ice if needed

  3. add pineapple wedges for garnish and serve immediately.

6. Mint Choco Mocktail

Here comes an interesting type of mocktail that you can enjoy especially with your kids as they are chocolate lovers. I am sure this will be very refreshing after a hot summer day of work.

Ingredients

  • 50 grams of chocolate and mint ice cream

  • 30 grams of coconut cream

  • handful of crushed ice

  • 30 grams of (half and half) cream

  • 2 tbsp of chocolate syrup

Preperation-

  1. coat the rim of the mocktail glass with the chocolate syrup

  2. combine all the ingredients in a pitcher and sti8r until smooth

  3. serve immediately with ice cubes if needed.

7. Mango Freppe

In India, especially in the summer season mango is considered to be one of the most favourite fruits of all. So for that reason here is one mocktail that can be made with mangoes.

Preperation time:- 4-5 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 peeled mango cut into chunks

  • 3/4 cup of orange juice

  • 1/4 cup of lime juice

  • 2-3 ice cubes

  • 1 and a quarter cup of chilled soda

Preperation-

  1. puree the mango in a blender

  2. add the orange and lime juice and blend for another minute

  3. add the chilled soda and ice cubes

  4. blend all the ingredients together and serve chilled.

8. Non-Alcoholic Sangria

This mocktail will be a favourite for fruit lovers. As this is homemade and non-alcoholic too, this will be very good for health as an added advantage.

Preperation time:- 4-5 mins

Cooking time:- less than 3 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 medium sized apple, finely sliced

  • 1 cup raspberries, chopped

  • 1 cup blueberries, chopped

  • 1 can of chilled soda

  • 1 can of cold ginger ale

  • apple cider

Preperation-

  1. in a pitcher, add the raspberries, apples add the blueberries.

  2. then pur the chilled soda, followed by the ginger ale.

  3. add the apple cider right before stirring.

  4. serve immediately and add ice cubes if needed.

9. Banana Strawberry Mocktail

This is a must try for all the mocktail lovers out there. The sweetness of fresh bananas and tanginess of strawberries create the best mocktail to try out after a hot summer day.

Ingredients

  • 4 bananas

  • 8 tbsp strawberry crush

  • 2 cups of fresh cream

  • 2 cups crushed ice

  • 4 sliced strawberry pieces

Preperation-

  1. mix the banana slices, strawberry shake, cream and crushed ice in a glass and blend properly

  2. put the mixture in serving glass adding some ice cubes, if needed

  3. serve with strawberry slices as garnish.

10. Black Grapes Mocktail

A little fancier mocktail than the others, but the taste is the same refreshing and mouth watering. Try these mocktails out in the summer to get fully refreshed and energized.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of black grape juice

  • 3/4 tsp of cumin seeds(jeera)

  • 1/2 tsp of thyme(ajvyain)

  • 1 tsp of fennel seeds(sounf)

  • 3 tsp of black rock salt

  • 1 and a half tbsp of tamarind pulp

  • crushed ice

  • black and green grapes

Preperation-

  1. roast cumin seeds, thyme and fennel seeds in a pan

  2. taking grape juice in a jug, add roasted masala, black rock salt and tamarind pulp to it and mix well

  3. add ice cubes if needed

  4. garnish it with black and green grapes.
