We all love easy-to-make meals that satisfy your cravings or help you with your lazy Sunday meals. So here I am, with 4 easy recipes that you can try at home. No matter what level of cook you are, an amateur, a home cook, or a chef, with such easy recipes, you'll do just fine!

1. Banana Smoothie

You can never go wrong with bananas. It's a staple fruit easily available at almost everyone’s house. Smoothies are a great way of consuming your favorite fruits along with other healthy ingredients. Quick and easy to make, this banana smoothie is an ideal energy boost.



  • 1 medium-sized ripe banana

  • 500 ml unsweetened almond milk

  • 2 tbsp almond butter

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 2tsp honey


Step 1.

Peel and slice the banana into pieces.

Step 2.

In a blender, whizz the almond milk with almond butter, cinnamon, and banana slices.

Step 3.

Transfer to 2 bottles and chill until ready to drink. Garnish with grounded nuts and banana slices.

2. Sweet Potato BBQ Sandwich

A sandwich with the right type of filling makes an amazing go-to snack. And what better filling than sweet potatoes and slaw salad? This easy sandwich recipe prepared with easily available ingredients can be served as a breakfast or evening snack. Grilled or toasted, have it your way!



  • 4 Bread slices

  • 2 medium-sized sweet potatoes

  • 1 1/2 cups bbq sauce

  • 2 cups slaw salad mix

  • 2 tablespoons mayo

  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder

  • Salt and Pepper to taste


Step 1.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Slice up the sweet potatoes about 1/6-1/8 inch thick. Lay the potatoes out on parchment paper and slather the bbq sauce on them. Sprinkle a little salt on top. Bake for 30 -35 minutes.

Step 2.

In a bowl, combine slaw, mayo, mustard powder, salt, and pepper.

Step 3.

Pile up the sweet potato slices on the bread and top them off with salad slaw. Lay the second piece of bread over it.

Step 4.

Toast the sandwich on skillet, or serve as is it right away.

3. Blueberries and Banana Oatmeal

Oatmeal is hands-down one of the healthiest breakfasts. From overnight oats to quick oats, you can find a variety of them. This delicious and light oatmeal, packed with protein and vitamins will surely satisfy your gut while keeping it healthy.



  • 1 cup oats

  • 4-5 blueberries

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • Salt to taste


Step 1:

Combine all the ingredients into a small saucepan and turn heat to medium/high.

Step 2:

Bring the mixture to a boil and turn the heat down to low/medium while continually stirring for around 3-5 minutes.

Step 3:

Once the oatmeal is cooked and at the desired consistency, remove from heat and serve immediately. Top it with some blueberries and banana slices.

4. Sweet and Spicy Salad

It wouldn't be a list of easy-to-make recipes if a salad wasn’t on it. You can't deny that salads are one of the easiest and healthiest meal options. This simple salad is going to be your savior with a mix of sweet and spicy flavors.



  • 1/4 Chopped Cabbage

  • Diced peach (any fruit)

  • 2-3 mint leaves

  • Fetta cheese

  • 2 chopped chillis

  • Salad dressing of your choice (Preferably Thousand Island)

  • Salt to taste.


Step 1:

Mix all the ingredients and give them a good toss. Add salt according to taste and keep tossing until properly combined.

Step 2:

Add a salad dressing of your choice and serve.
