It is easy to add but difficult to maintain.

Overpopulation is a global threat with environmental, social and economic issues. Presence of too many people may result in the greatest threat to our planet in future. The number of people across the globe is increasing immensely which needs to be controlled, so the main trouble is that how can it can be controlled.

Many countries are already facing the effects of overpopulation, everyday people are struggling for food, shelter and water. The main goal is to survive and thus they live in poor conditions. Such countries have no fundings for birth control thus facing problems related to overpopulation. Girls tend to leave their school at a very early age and it is evident that lower the rate of education higher is the rate of population. Since people are not educated so they have no access to the knowledge about the causes of overpopulation.

Over the last 40 years, the rate of population has doubled. Every twenty minutes, the world adds another 3500 human lives. About 300 million people in India live below poverty, which is degrading the lives of many people. The load of the population is affecting people both economically and socially. Reduction in mortality rate, better medical facilities and depletion of important resources are the reasons why there is an increase in the population rate.

To overcome this problem it is important that people get access to education, there must be an awareness campaign in small villages to make people aware of proper family plannings. It is important to let people and especially the young generation know more about sex education, as many parents feel shy to discuss such things with their kids. This could be made possible with the help of workshops in schools and colleges. It is important to take serious steps in order to have a brighter and safe future.
