An important life lesson that I’ve learnt is to fight your fears. We all grow comfortable of things going our way. I in particular have not been a fan of situations where I’m not in control. I learnt it the hard way that it isn’t possible to live like this. Life doesn’t work the way you want it to work. The unpredictability of life is what makes you stronger and wiser as time passes. We can always blame circumstances. We can always make excuses. It’s easy to just give up simply because it seemed difficult to handle. What builds your character as an individual is how you deal with these difficult times. You’ve got to take chances, step out of your comfort zone so that you aren’t scared of whatever scared you before. Being fearful will shackle you. It’s enlightening to be able to overcome something that you thought was “impossible “, it gives you the motivation you need to do that with any other situation. Often we don’t talk about what we fear merely because we think we’ll be mocked or judged. But when you’re surrounded by the right people they’ll supplement your growth. We improve and grow when the environment is right. Being around negative people harbours negativity in us as well.

Those who care for you will always want what’s best for you, they’ll never let you feel inferior. You all have what it takes to fight your fears. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. My uncle told me F.E.A.R is an acronym for False Evidence Appearing Real. You can always deal with a situation and come up with a solution. When you're working and something goes wrong you need to have the ability to think calmly and take decisions. We underestimate ourselves, we say "I don't think I'll be able to do this" but in reality we're capable of tacklingsituations we wouldn't ever imagine that we could. We just need to change the way we think. It sounded cliche when someone would say that nothing is impossible but it is true. We undermine our potential, we just need to realise what we're capable of achieving. Some quotes on fear :

Remember your dreams and fight for them. You must know what you want from life. There is just one thing that makes your dream become impossible: the fear of failure.

Paulo Coelho

Fear keeps us focused on the past or worried about the future. If we can acknowledge our fear, we can realize that right now we are okay. Right now, today, we are still alive, and our bodies are working marvelously. Our eyes can still see the beautiful sky. Our ears can still hear the voices of our loved ones.
