Introvert means those people who like calm and minimal human contact environment. They tend to feel drained and exhausted after socializing too much and have to recharge by being alone. They love reading books or to paint or to write or other activities that do not need talking. They don't like crowded places. Being an introvert does not mean you are shy or lonely or antisocial or unfriendly. Actually, they are the people who talk less but have the loudest thoughts. They excel at things like painting or writing. They aren't antisocial they just can't handle too much socializing at the same time. They are the people who will listen to you. They daydream a lot and hate talking to strangers. They are people who just want some alone time being themselves. If you are an introvert then you would definitely relate to those things below:
When people mistake your thinking face for a resting bitch face.
'What angry/death glare? It's just my thinking face.'
2.Having to find excuses to leave someplace or a party.
Sometimes we run out of excuses.
3. Not being mentally prepared for a call with a stranger.
It is difficult.
4. When you forget your earphones or book at home and have to talk to people all day long.
God forbid anyone to go through that.
5. You don't know how to get rid of that friend who always wants to hang out and talks too much.
6. If you are quiet then people ask "Are you okay?" or "Why are you so quiet?"
It's okay!!!
7. Need plans to avoid crowded places.
Getting caught daydreaming and not paying attention while someone is talking to you.
'Yeah', 'Hmm' and 'True' is the language of introverts when they're daydreaming.
8. You do not prefer to be a part of a group project.
' I don't hate you but I just want some alone time.'
9. Feeling exhausted after a party due to so much human interaction.
'Invite me but I don't wanna go'
10. People call you shy when you just don't want to talk.
It's a mood and we just don't want to talk much.
11. Have to deal with negative labels like ' in your head too much' or 'Get your nose out of the books' or 'What is wrong with you?'
'I am going to hibernate for some hours.'
12. When your friend wants to invite more people but you prefer smaller circles.
'Two is a company, three's a crowd.'
13. You have to fake being outgoing on dates or in front of your crush or in job interviews.
'I am adventurous. I once risked going out with no books or earphones.'
14. You don't know how to flirt.
'Do you know that smell gas has?' (Friends Reference)
These are some problems with being an introvert. There are advantages too. If you're an introvert you must be saying 'That is so true" and if you're not an introvert then share it with your introvert friends.
I love to be alone. I never found the companion that was so companionable as solitude. -Henry David Thoreau
