First of all, it is important to know the meaning of the term “individual”. So here is the meaning.

Meaning of Individual

The word “individual” means the quality or character of a particular person or thing that distinguishes them from others of the same kind. By having the quality of individuality it will make them different from the rest of the crowd. As human beings, we are born with individual characteristics. We all are born in different places, religion, caste, tradition, etc. I personally believe that we all are born with our own talents and skills and that’s what makes us different from others. Like some people are good at singing, some are good at dancing, some are creative or some are good at speaking. We all have one or other talent but it depends on us to find it and as soon as we discover our talent or skill, you can polish that thing particularly to make it even better and later it will become your strength which will help you in your career if you are going in the same field.

You are unique but the society in which we live is a bit pathetic as society believes that in order to be good enough, you have to be better than others. Like in an Indian context, you can find lots of memes where “ Sharma Ji ka beta” is the topper, gentleman, a person who has all the good qualities embedded. We are constantly attacked by social pressure. To break the mindset of people you have to come out from your comfort zone or your own shells. You have to be a mature, unique and irreplaceable person.

Benefits of being an Individual Person

  • By working on ourselves and living as we want to, we can actually improve our weaknesses because no one knows your weaknesses better than yourself. We can excel our strength and by working on our weaknesses, we can become an irreplaceable person. Everyone will try to become like you. But remember everyone has their own qualities and maybe no one can beat them in that particular thing but without hard work, you cannot achieve anything.

  • You can be creative as you will think out of the box. You can become a leader and help those people who want to achieve something in life. You should be friendly and helpful to people who are surrounded. You should always stay grounded because by being a person who is full of his/her attitude doesn’t progress either he/she will be favorite of anyone. By taking stands for yourself shows you, how strong you are as we all have our own opinions and to share your own point of view in the crowd is not bad. It should also not hurt other sentiments. Take a stand for right and wrong that will reflect your personality.

  • People who are selfish think for their own benefits only. They think for promotion for themselves without caring about others, they may use wrong ways as well to prove themselves right or boss's favorite. You should avoid all these negativities. You should be empathetic towards others and if you will adapt open-minded lifestyle then you will try new every other day and you will be able to live a happier life than before. You yourself will have the will to learn something new regularly.

  • If you will live open-mindedly then you can also inspire others to live their lives more passionately. You can spread happiness wherever you will go by your aura of calmness, sincerity towards your work, responsible for your work or promises, empathy for others, etc.

There are some people still exist who doesn’t want to break their shells because they are afraid of the judgmental society as we all live in an orthodox society where people only make gossips and degrade other people’s life. Due to the social pressure, few of the children got influence and because of lack of any guidance, they took wrong steps like suicide before their results or after exams, etc.

Be yourself with no regrets and work upon yourself to improve your weaknesses and make your strengths better so that no one can beat you. You yourself is unique and you are special than others.
