When a person first hears the word “Anime”, all that they think is that's supposed to be a kids show, but I assure you that's not the case. Anime or Animation is a way of presenting hand drawn manga in an animated form on TV by adding some great music and making it a show.

A single anime can belong in multiple genre. Manga writings and animations began in Japan. There are other countries in the industry like China , North Korea, South Korea, Spain, US.
Amazing fact is that the Animation industry is the world's most developed industry, and Pokémon created in 1996 had a total revenue of est. $90 billion which beats franchises like Winnie the Pooh,Mickey Mouse & Friends,Star Wars,Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The anime industry covers a wide range of topics, in various genres.

Anime comes with various topics for various age groups, among the children anime like Doraemon,Shinchan are very popular with content attracting most of younger audiences, then there are animes for teenagers and adults like Naruto, Death note, Berserk etc.
And the way of storytelling is wonderful in any anime, along with the background score, and some great animations, and the character designs are great and so is the introduction, and after watching any anime the audience will always have one character close to them, while there are other animes like Naruto where the audience will have at least 10 characters very much special to them. Animes can be short or even longer one, like for example Death note has 37 episodes, while Naruto has a total 720 episodes, and incase of a large number of episodes there are filler episodes. But despite that animes are awesome, every episode is well directed and action sequences are incredibly well done for example Attack on Titans. And more than anything is the story that makes the anime being attached to its viewer. Anime teaches us a lot it motives and gives us a well advised life lesson that nothing comes while going for a shortcut, you need to work hard to achieve your goals and dreams and more than anything is to believe in yourself.
