"Every choice carries a consequence. For better or worse, each choice is the unavoidable consequence of its predecessor. There are no exceptions. If you can accept that a bad choice carries the seed of its own punishment, why not accept the fact that a good choice yields desirable fruit?" _by Gary Ryan Blair
It’s a fact for all of us that the situation in which we are living today, it’s because of the choices that we had made yesterday. So it’s true that our choices make a big difference in our lives and we face good or bad consequences in accordance with it. From our childhood, we have been taught that "you reap what you sow”. Therefore we should
realize that the gift of choice is like fire: if properly used, it can create warmth and life; if improperly used, it can burn or even kill. So, with each choice comes a consequence.
For example, in today's world, everyone wants to be successful and rich but it depends on the individual choice that on what path someone would like to walk on.
We often complain about our life, the way we live, the things which we have, the opportunities which we get, it’s human nature. We always blame the people around us, the society or the situation.
In such a grave situation like this, we forget that things happen according
to our choices. We are the one who is responsible for our life, our situation.
Like, if one chooses to struggle or do hard work in his twenties, he will be a successful person and in peace in his sixties otherwise if one chooses to enjoy his twenties, he has to struggle in his sixties. Then you can't blame others for your condition. It is just a
matter of choices which we make.
And when sometimes circumstances are not in our control it’s our actions that how we handle it to decide the end result.
There is a human desire to be miraculously delivered from the consequences of an action. We tend to seek a rescue from consequences with little or no effort on our part. This tendency can easily be seen manifested by those who seek deliverance from a disease of choice by taking a pill or treat the symptoms instead of changing the behavior that causes the symptoms. We should seek to change our actions because we cannot choose the consequences. We must accept responsibility, which is the willingness and ability to recognize and accept the consequences of our actions.
The above things can easily be implemented by responding to a situation instead of reacting. Hence with reference to Newton's third law, our actions have an equal and opposite reactions on our life.
So, the moral of the story is to CHOOSE WISELY.
