How often do you look at yourself when you stand in front of the mirror and watch your insecurities and flaws closely? Do you accept who you are or have you matured enough to love your flaws and imperfections?

To all my readers, I know we all have been listening to this since a very long time, but it is what it is. The real meaning of “Beauty” is not what you have on the outside for the world to see but what you have on the inside that matters. You need to learn how to accept your flaws and be comfortable with them. Love yourself. If you won't love yourself and not allow your beautiful imperfections, how do you expect others to do the same and treat you better? I have just one question for you all.

Who is perfect? None.

We live in a world where people are more concerned about their likes on Instagram or Facebook and uploading pictures with filters and writing captions "Be Real." See the irony? If you truly want someone to love you, you need to love yourself first. Who cares if you're fat or dusky or short? Trust me; if you are confident enough to walk up in the crowd and not feel insecure about your flaws, you're a winner.

This is a reminder to you all to never stop loving yourself. Stop cribbing about what can't be changed and start accepting yourself for who you are — the Real You. Then watch things change. Find someone who loves you for all your imperfections — someone who would want you to fall deeper and deeper in love with yourself.

I must let you know that Self-love is essential. It is our imperfections that make us unique and are, believe it or not, our strengths. You are beautiful in your perfect way, because of your flaws, quirks and weirdness. Don't hide them, instead embrace them. It is only your imperfections that make you beautiful, and once you realize that, you have nothing to lose.

If you're worried and conscious about your scars, try embracing them for once for your injuries have a story to tell. Be proud of your scars. Show the world that you have the courage and the strength to face the world with your flaws. Nobody on this earth is perfect.

It is your individuality. Your uniqueness.
