And when the free stuff is your fitness everybody wants to grab it. There are a lot of other ways by which we can stay fit and healthy only by having an active lifestyle. You can actually be healthy without going to the gym so here we are going to discuss some of the methods that you have to follow to stay fit while you are not actually exercising.

  1. Try not to sit for more than an hour at a stretch on your chair when you are at your job since it can give you a back pain which due course can lead to a serious back problem. Also going out for a walk after every 30 minutes of sitting can give your body a nice posture and will help in combating the back pain.

  2. If you drink plenty of water it can really act as a blessing in disguise in the near future as keeping your body hydrated will keep diseases at bay and eventually make your body fit and healthy.

  3. In order to stay fit, you must also include lots of dietary fibres and green leafy vegetables in your diet that is, you must eat lots of fruits and vegetable fruits do contain sugar but they also contain fibres which help in increasing the digestive capacity of the body. Eating vegetables keeps the metabolism of the body healthy.

  4. Try not to sit in front of your television set for hours at a stretch, instead, go outdoors and try activities like bicycle and swimming that helps in increasing the metabolism rate of the body. You can also devote a fixed time to dance, which is also a kind of exercise.

  5. Try to do your household work like washing clothes and sweeping dusting all by yourself and not by machines as these are recognised as a form of exercise and they eventually help in increasing the metabolic rate of the body, which helps in keeping your body fit.

  6. Eat less and eat at short intervals of time during a whole day, that is, you can avoid having heavy meals throughout the entire day and instead can have small parts of a meal at intervals of two hours.

  7. Exercising is a different task it, involves the movement of your body parts but meditating is equally important for a body to stay healthy. You can sit back each day for at least 2 minutes to calm Your Mind by inhaling and exhaling i.e., taking deep breaths.

  8. Instead of driving to your workplace you can switch to cycling or you can work to your workplace it is also counted as a form of exercise.

  9. You can ditch the lift of your building and switch to stairs for staying fit. It also increases the metabolic rate of your body.

  10. If you want to stay fit you have to keep a check on your diet, you have to avoid oily and junk food that may lead to your bad health condition. It is also because junk food and oily food requires much more time to digest and much more activity is required to burn the calories provided by them.
