TikTok’s user base include almost the young generation. After the merger with Musical.lythe reports showed that 50 percent of user are between the age of 13 and 24 and they are using this app way too much even neglecting their study time. This has shown a rapid amount of increase in senseless content, mindlessly repetitive memes, fortnite and pubg highlights, makeup application contest and much more. Comedy skits that makes the app exactly almost like a vine and makes it too much interesting. Many user created videos and used this app when in bedroom which can lead to cyber crimes through photoshoping. Which is to say that Tiktok not only feels like app but when teens are bored the app become their friend and rather enjoying or spending time with friends in reality they try to make videos on Tiktok and to be a famous artist in reel life. It created a negative impact on a students life as they did or thoughtbof content to create in TikTok.

The TikTok video sharing app has been removed until further notice from the Google Play Store and the Apple App store on 17 April, after two weeks madras high court put a ban on thisaap.

This was the major step taken by the courts to ban the app to protect the youth of the country from all the bad habits and some things that divert their mind to something else.

But it takes not more than 15 seconds to download this app from non-offical sites and many are even downloading even though its illeagal and a unfair mean.

On3 April 2019, the Madras High Court gave the decision tothe central government of India to ban this app as soon as possible because it is causing negative effect onthe youth. The decision was taken as the youths are the future of our country and should be focused on developing themselves and creating abetter future for our country instead of wasting their time to creates videos.

ByteDance firmbehind this Tiktok app has challenged the ban by the supreme court and they are claiming that this ban is voiloting our right to speech and freedom of expression.

As the Byte dance haschallengedthe decision in supreme Court, sobnow the court will review the plea on 22 april until the app is still ban in India and Indians would not be ableto use this app any more.
