What are signs of allowing somebody else’s opinion?

-Someone has abused you about your body figure, or color and you are taking it too much seriously.

-While taking some crucial decisions, your relatives are advising you to do in their way and you are literally doing it.

-You love a person who is so special to you yet you are allowing his/her actions into your life directly.

-You are a die-hard fan of a celebrity and blindly following him/her.

I hope you can relate such examples to your life, which shows you are pretending to be someone else. This results in a real mess.

Why you should not allow their opinions, directly?

See, it’s damn simple! You only know about your conditions and situations, which you’ve faced, or facing right now, similarly, the person who's advising you has their personal perception. There is always a strong possibility of a different point of view. This is absolutely not wrong or bad.It is natural.

What to do if you are struggling through such opinions?

Firstly, accept it as normal human behavior. No human was born on this planet that never cares about other's opinions primarily. The actual thing matters are the way of thinking towards such an opinion.

There are no successful people because we all are successful but the real success is in a mindset.

Use five figure rule:

Do this activity right now!Write down the names of 5 people to whom you care the most as well as they do.Put it in your priority fingers.

Like, to me

1.Parents

2.Brother

3.Best friend

4.Best friend

5. Close friend

When I’ve started analyzing the same in my life, I’ve found that I only have 4 persons who I care the most. Now, if someone is advising you and that person is coming from those 5 fingers, then take a step back from your side and try to think in their way for some time. The reason behind this is that those people will never ever have bad intentions with you.

What if they aren’t from 5 fingers?

1.Learn from them

2. Follow yourself

As simple as that…

Don’t argue with them if you are hesitating during a conversation as if you do so, then there will be 2 fools.Again, never underestimate any person in your life, that person may be giving you genuine advise based upon reality. The only thing is to be aware of what they are saying to you, stay hyperactive at that time. It's okay to learn from them and follow yourself but never take anyone for granted.

Conclusion

Learn from every person’s experience and follow your direction.Introspect yourself daily and ask yourself“Am I pretending to be someone else?”You’ll improve yourself being yourself from this onwards with yourself.
