HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY for those who are still fighting for their existence in our society, fighting for their rights, their status, position, freedom and for everything. They are fighting with society in every step of their life.

Yes, Happy Women's day for LGBTQ community not for the 8th march but also every moment, every day. We believe they have the power to bless, but we can't accept them. We called Eunuchs at weddings, birth ceremonies but we can't accept as well as respect them in our society. Constantly they are humiliated by other people. While many trans people have been successful in breaking the prejudice surrounding them, in several parts of India, people still believe in stereotypes and refuse to give jobs to trans people. Many trans people drop out of school/college because they suffer bullying and harassment. There is not only ignorance among students, but teachers as well. Why they are the victim of our society? Don’t they have two eyes, one heart and red blood like us?

Manabí Bandhopadhyay demanded nothing less than what she deserved--RESPECT & DIGNITY as any human being. Her long struggles paid off and she crossed several milestones. Laxmi Narayan Tripathi, first transgender person to represent Asia Pacific at the UN. She said, “The book (Me Hijra Me Laxmi) is about my life. It has everything from the numerous love affairs I have had to finding solace in Mumbai’s bars. From mental and physical abuse to finding a life of grace, dignity and fame, it is about Laxmi, a person who recognises herself as a hijra at present proudly,”. Akkai Padmashali, attempting to kill herself twice now she is a famous for human rights activist. But the question arise, why should they fight for being a part of our society?? just because they are a TRANSGENDER???

The supreme Court of India, accept transgender people in our society with due respect with love and finally they are consider as a 'Third gender'. The fundamental rights of the Indian Constitution are equal and same for them like us for their gender identity, their existence in our society as male, female, or third gender. Even the court has given the permission for admission in any educational institutions to built their career and can do the jobs as per their qualifications, for being independent. Supreme Court announced to treat them equally because they are a part of our society. So, who are we not to accept them in our society? Who are we to make them away from our society? They are also women like us, who wants to leave with due respect in the society rather than being discarded.

NO MORE FIGHT FOR RIGHT!!

HAPPY WOMEN'S (LGBTQ) DAY
