Honour Killing

Honour killing- "killing of people especially the girl child because she is perceived to have brought shame and dishonour for the family." Now, what is honour is very essential to know in this context. Honour in this context is what society confers. Actually, there are some vague limitations set by the society if you abide by it you have maintained the dignity and if anyone tries to break those rules you are undignified.

The most disheartening is theckilling of person by their own family members just to maintain there so called "elite class" . This raises a very important question what is for all this, who decides these limitations? Who decides what is honourable and dignified and what is not. There are many cases where family have killed their own children not because they have done anything shameful but just because of their orthodox and narrow-mindness. The society cannot digest if anyone ir anything that goes against, it works like a slow poison if you are in a society you have to take that. Families should value their relation and life more than anything. It is rule , the mindset that needs to be changed in this changing world. Give faith and trust to your children si that they can come up to you when they are in need. Indeed thid would change the way people look at this world. Let's stop ending this beautiful life just for the sake of fake or so-called honour and respect in the society.
