How often do you feel like abandoning your kitchen work and couching on a comfortable sofa with a cup of coffee in your hand and a romantic novel on the table to read? Oh no, before you even imagine this, you have to wrap tiffins for your kids and husband and then the errands never end. Cooking something different everyday takes long hours to think and then after much head scratching you end up cooking the same meal that you prepared couple if days ago. But did you know you can prepare few dishes in a jiffy during the busy hours and can finish off packing tiffins for your kids and sit tk read your favourite novel as soon as possible?

Here it is:

Prep time :10 mins

1-You will need:

A bowl of poha (pressed rice)

A bowl of curd

A bowl of steamed sprouts (with tomatoes, chat masala, onion, chilies in it).

2- Wash poha thoroughly and soak it in curd.

Mix well. Let sit for 3 mins.

3-Crush the sprouts to form it into a flattened paste.

4-Take the poha squeeze and spread it on a plate, covering the entire plate.

5-Cut the poha batter in thick strips.

6-Place sprouts on the strips and role (it might break thus always keep your hands wet.)

7-Cup your hands to knead the poha containing sprouts into a diamond shape.

8-Sotte Rai and zeera in a pan, fry poha rolls until they turn golden brown.

Serve hot with sauce or chutney.

Your tasty healthy snack is ready.

The other day you can try your hand at bread dahi bada.

For that you would need :

Prep time :10 mins

A packet of bread, two packets of curd, imli chutney, almonds, dates and cream

1- Take a bowl of curd and put a pinch of black salt,Red chili powder, powdered zeera and half spoon sugar and mix well.

2- Now take two slices of bread, cut off the edges. Place one slice in a plate, add chopped dates, almonds and cream over it. Take the other slice to cover.

3-Pour the prepared curd over it and add imli chutney on it.

4-Let sit for 2 mins, serve the delicacy!
