Ahhh!!!we all know this famous phrase "To be, or not to be". It is the opening phrase of a soliloquy by Prince Hamlet in William Shakespeare's play called Hamlet. He asks himself whether it is good to suffer when someone is suppressing us or to rebel and gain freedom by crossing an enormous sea of troubles. He is contemplating whether to face challenges or peacefully leave everything behind. This situation is not only with Hamlet but it exists today as well. In simpler terms, I call it a dilemma.
If you are facing dilemma, then don't worry we are all in the same boat. It happens all the time when we have options that are too hard to choose from. Have you ever wondered what causes dilemma? Well, when you are in a situation, and you have to make a choice from which you can't turn back once you have chosen it. It is such decisions that leaves you in a cross road. By the end of the day, we have to arrive at a conclusion anyway.
To dive deep into dilemma, lets look at it types:-
Right or Wrong?
We often have clashes in our mind whether the action that we do produces any influence or not. If so then what type of influence? The inner voice within us speaks up for both the choices leaving us in a confused state.
2. Speak up or let it go?
Hamlet was facing such a dilemma. He had to decide whether to speak for his cause and face all the troubles that might come his way or remain quite and let the matter go. In such cases what do we do?. Honestly, in my opinion, we have to speak it out whatever it is ,if the situation is to be settled fair and square. Only thing is we have to speak in a way that the message gets across to the right person in the correct manner.
3. Choosing from many equally benefiting options
Somtimes we end up deciding between so many options that it makes us go crazy and we have to put our mind, soul and heart into deciding which one to go with. This can be really challenging because all the choices have a benefit of their own. Making up our mind to finalise a decision can be troublesome. But just relax, sit back and give it a good thought. In such situations, it is good to take our elder's help.
All in all let's take good decisions and learn from our past experiences.
