Is it true to say that observing others is less than experiencing yourself? Well, according to me it's not. We need not experience everything for knowing it. Observing others is a great way of getting through new things and ideas. No doubt experience is always the best teacher. It teaches you the worst thing at its best. An experienced employee in any field is more knowledgeable than a fresh recruit. Experience makes us know the flaws in us and the next time we do it, we can work on our flaws and this makes us even better. But in the actual world experiencing everything is next to impossible. But observing others do different things is possible. We learn many things only by observing others. "A good listener is a good speaker too". It means that a person sitting in the audience and listening to a speaker in front of him can accurately observe things in him, can notice his flaws and can be presentable in a better way than him because now he knows how to be a better performer.

A keen observer observes every single thing in anyone he/she interested in. Even the best trait in any writer is the observation skills along with his/her knowledge and experience. There are certain qualities to be a good observer and the main character is being patient. Patience is not only the trait of a good observer but also a good person. You should patiently listen to anyone who is sharing their experience with you and then calmly thinks about it for a while. You will definitely understand the topic and will perfectly be knowledgeable after. The second trait is alertness. Being alert is very important and at the same time difficult for an observer. Alertness means knowing about your surroundings and observing people and not only people but also non-living things which makes you feel happy and excited all the time. The next trait which is essential for being a good observer is physical condition too. This may sound weird but it's true. Until you are physically fit and healthy you will not be confident enough to ask and discuss others about there experience and thus you may not observe and listen to others properly. Last but not least, good memory. Storing many things in our memory is a beneficial trait for everyone.

Therefore, being experienced is very important but being a good observer is much more beneficial to any person as an experience you gain and observation you take is never in vain. Thus, both are equally important as some people experience it and some observe it. Whenever you get a chance to experience something new, go ahead. But observing is not a day work it continues at all times so observe efficiently whenever you get any chance.
