It is a movie on an Indian soldier major vihaan Singh Shergill of the Indian army and this is a true story on the surgical strike that took place in India.Uri has been the movie for Vicky Kaushal as it has propelled the actor career to an all-time high.After his supporting role in Sanju, he came up with a new look where he was able to capture the audience with his acting.He was great in this role it looked he was made to be in this role .The way he acted the whole scene in teh movie and how he was able to carry his style during the movie was most commendable and he actually pull the audience towards him which help the overall naration of the story.

Yami Gautam is a raw agent that works undercover so that she can help vihaan Singh is doing the surgical strike in Pakistan.Uri has received a mixed review as the critics were having many mixed opinions on this movie

But the audience loved it and has become the highest-grossing movie for Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam.This movie just takes the breath away from the audience and had his share of wow movements.Most of the movie lover loved this movie and I would also say that it was one of the best movies of 2018.

Uri: The Surgical Strike in opening weekend earned ₹35.73 crore from the domestic circuit. In the first weekend, the film collected ₹70.94 crore from pan India.As of 20 February 2019 it grossed ₹293.69 crore from India and ₹46.01 crore (US$6.4 million) from overseas taking the worldwide gross collection to ₹339.70 crore (US$47 million).

The film crossed the ₹100 crore (US$14 million) mark in a gross collection on the 8th day of its release. It took 15 days to gross ₹200 crore (US$28 million) and in its fourth week of release, it grossed ₹300 crore (US$42 million) worldwide.
