  क्षर पुरुष में प्रतिष्ठित मनोमय प्राणी उसके प्रवाह में ही गति करता रहता है और इसे शाश्वत शान्ति, शक्ति एवं आत्मानन्द प्राप्त नहीं हैं ; अक्षर पुरुष में प्रतिष्ठित आत्मा के अन्दर ये सब विद्यमान होते हैं पर वह जगत् में कर्म नहीं कर सकती ; किन्तु जो आत्मा परात्पर पुरुष में निवास कर सकती है वह सत्ता की शाश्वत शान्ति, शक्ति, आनन्द और विशालता का उपभोग करती है, अपने आत्मज्ञान और आत्मशक्ति में चरित्र एवं व्यक्तित्व से या अपनी शक्ति के रूपों तथा अपनी चेतना के अभ्यासों से नहीं बंधी होती और फिर भी जगत् में भगवान् को प्रकट करने के लिये इन सबको विशाल स्वतन्त्रता और शक्ति के साथ प्रयुक्त करती है ।
