• Indeed those who want indecency to spread among the faithful—there is a painful punishment for them in the world and the Hereafter, and Allah knows and you do not know.
  जो लोग चाहते है कि उन लोगों में जो ईमान लाए है, अश्लीहलता फैले, उनके लिए दुनिया और आख़िरत में दुखद यातना है । और अल्लाह बड़ा करुणामय, अत्यन्त दयावान है

• And as for the two who are guilty of indecency from among you, give them both a punishment ; then if they repent and amend, turn aside from them ; surely Allah is Oft - returning, the Merciful.
  और तुममें से जो दो पुरुष यह कर्म करें, उन्हें प्रताड़ित करो, फिर यदि वे तौबा कर ले और अपने आपको सुधार लें, तो उन्हें छोड़ दो । अल्लाह तौबा क़बूल करनेवाला, दयावान है

• And whoever among you has not within his power ampleness of means to marry free believing women, then of those whom your right hands possess from among your believing maidens ; and Allah knows best your faith: you are the one from the other ; so marry them with the permission of their masters, and give them their dowries justly, they being chaste, not fornicating, nor receiving paramours ; and when they are taken in marriage, then if they are guilty of indecency, they shall suffer half the punishment which is upon free women. This is for him among you who fears falling into evil ; and that you abstain is better for you, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
  और तुममें से जो शख्स आज़ाद इफ्फ़तदार औरतों से निकाह करने की माली हैसियत से क़ुदरत न रखता हो तो वह तुम्हारी उन मोमिना लौन्डियों से जो तुम्हारे कब्ज़े में हैं निकाह कर सकता है और ख़ुदा तुम्हारे ईमान से ख़ूब वाक़िफ़ है तुममें एक दूसरे का हमजिन्स है पस उनके मालिकों की इजाज़त से लौन्डियों से निकाह करो और उनका मेहर हुस्ने सुलूक से दे दो मगर उन्हीं से निकाह करो जो इफ्फ़त के साथ तुम्हारी पाबन्द रहें न तो खुले आम ज़िना करना चाहें और न चोरी छिपे से आशनाई फिर जब तुम्हारी पाबन्द हो चुकी उसके बाद कोई बदकारी करे तो जो सज़ा आज़ाद बीवियों को दी जाती है उसकी आधी लौन्डियों को दी जाएगी से निकाह कर भी सकता है तो वह शख्स जिसको ज़िना में मुब्तिला हो जाने का ख़ौफ़ हो और सब्र करे तो तुम्हारे हक़ में ज्यादा बेहतर है और ख़ुदा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है

• He will ask you to indulge in evil, indecency, and to speak lies of God you cannot even conceive.
  वह तो बस तुम्हें बुराई और अश्लीलता पर उकसाता है और इसपर कि तुम अल्लाह पर थोपकर वे बातें कहो जो तुम नहीं जानते

• And wed not of women those whom your fathers had wedded, except that which hath already passed. Verily it hath been an indecency and an abomination and an evil way:
  और उन स्त्रियों से विवाह न करो, जिनसे तुम्हारे बाप विवाह कर चुके हों, परन्तु जो पहले हो चुका सो हो चुका । निस्संदेह यह एक अश्लील और अत्यन्त अप्रिय कर्म है, और बुरी रीति है

• Believers, do not follow in the steps of satan, for those who follow the steps of satan, he bids to indecency and dishonor. But for the bounty of Allah to you, and His Mercy no one of you would ever have been purified ; but Allah purifies whom He will ; Allah is the Hearer, the Knower.
  ऐ ईमान लानेवालो! शैतान के पद - चिन्हों पर न चलो । जो कोई शैतान के पद - चिन्हों पर चलेगा तो वह तो उसे अश्लीलता औऱ बुराई का आदेश देगा । और यदि अल्लाह का उदार अनुग्रह और उसकी दयालुता तुमपर न होती तो तुममें से कोई भी आत्म - विश्वास को प्राप्त न कर सकता । किन्तु अल्लाह जिसे चाहता है, सँवारता - निखारता है । अल्लाह तो सब कुछ सुनता, जानता है

• Wives of the Prophet, if any of you commit flagrant indecency, her chastisement shall be doubled. That is easy for Allah.
  ऐ पैग़म्बर की बीबियों तुममें से जो कोई किसी सरीही ना शाइस्ता हरकत की का मुरतिब हुई तो उसका अज़ाब भी दुगना बढ़ा दिया जाएगा और खुदा के वास्ते आसान है

• O believers, follow not the steps of Satan ; for whosoever follows the steps of Satan, assuredly he bids to indecency and dishonour. But for God ' s bounty to you and His mercy not one of you would have been pure ever ; but God purifies whom He will ; and God is All - hearing, All - knowing.
  ऐ ईमान लानेवालो! शैतान के पद - चिन्हों पर न चलो । जो कोई शैतान के पद - चिन्हों पर चलेगा तो वह तो उसे अश्लीलता औऱ बुराई का आदेश देगा । और यदि अल्लाह का उदार अनुग्रह और उसकी दयालुता तुमपर न होती तो तुममें से कोई भी आत्म - विश्वास को प्राप्त न कर सकता । किन्तु अल्लाह जिसे चाहता है, सँवारता - निखारता है । अल्लाह तो सब कुछ सुनता, जानता है

• And Lut when he said to his people: What! do you commit an indecency which any one in the world has not done before you ?
  और हमने लूत को भेजा । जब उसने अपनी क़ौम से कहा," क्या तुम वह प्रत्यक्ष अश्लील कर्म करते हो, जिसे दुनिया में तुमसे पहले किसी ने नहीं किया ?"

• And when they commit an indecency they say: We found our fathers doing this, and Allah has enjoined it on us. Say: Surely Allah does not enjoin indecency ; do you say against Allah what you do not know ?
  जो ईमान नही रखते और वह लोग जब कोई बुरा काम करते हैं कि हमने उस तरीके पर अपने बाप दादाओं को पाया और ख़ुदा ने यही हुक्म दिया है तुम साफ कह दो कि ख़ुदा ने यही हुक्म दिया है तुम कह दो कि ख़ुदा हरगिज़ बुरे काम का हुक्म नहीं देता क्या तुम लोग ख़ुदा पर वह बातें कहते हो जो तुम नहीं जानते
