• Besides full medical care for self and dependants, that is admissible from day one of insurable employment, the insured persons are also entitled to a variety of cash benefits in times of physical distress due to sickness, temporary or permanent disablement etc. resulting in loss of earning capacity, the confinement in respect of insured women, dependants of insured persons who die in industrial accidents or because of employment injury or occupational hazard are entitled to a monthly pension called the dependants benefit.
  बीमाकृत व्यक्तियों और उनके आश्रितों को बीमा योग्य रोजगार में आने के प्रथम दिन से स्वीकार्य पूर्ण चिकित्सा देखरेख के अतिरिक्त वे बीमारी के कारण शारीरिक पीड़ा, अस्थायी या स्थायी अपंगता आदि के परिणामस्वरूप अर्जन - क्षमता में हुई हानि तथा बीमाकृत महिला के संबंध में प्रसूति की स्थिति में विभिन्न प्रकार के नकद हितलाभों के भी हकदार होते हैं । औद्योगिक दुर्घटनाओं या रोजगार चोट या व्यावसायिक खतरे के कारण मृत बीमाकृत व्यक्ति के आश्रितजन मासिक पेंशन के हकदार होते हैं जिसे आश्रितजन हितलाभ कहा जाता है ।

  किसी चोट के संबंध में जिसका परिणाम कर्मकार की, तीन दिन से अधिक अवधि के लिए, संपूर्ण या आंशिक विकलांगता नहीं होती है
