  और जो लोग निकाह करने का मक़दूर नहीं रखते उनको चाहिए कि पाक दामिनी एख्तियार करें यहाँ तक कि ख़ुदा उनको अपने फज़ल व से मालदार बना दे और तुम्हारी लौन्डी ग़ुलामों में से जो मकातबत होने की ख्वाहिश करें तो तुम अगर उनमें कुछ सलाहियत देखो तो उनको मकातिब कर दो और ख़ुदा के माल से जो उसने तुम्हें अता किया है उनका भी दो और तुम्हारी लौन्डियाँ जो पाक दामन ही रहना चाहती हैं उनको दुनियावी ज़िन्दगी के फायदे हासिल करने की ग़रज़ से हराम कारी पर मजबूर न करो और जो शख्स उनको मजबूर करेगा तो इसमें शक नहीं कि ख़ुदा उसकी बेबसी के बाद बड़ा बख्शने वाले मेहरबान है

• And she who guarded her chastity, so We breathed into her of Our inspiration and made her and her son a sign for the nations.
  और उस बीबी को जिसने अपनी अज़मत की हिफाज़त की तो हमने उन में अपनी तरफ से रूह फूँक दी और उनको और उनके बेटे को सारे जहाँन के वास्ते निशानी बनाया

• And also recall the woman who guarded her chastity: We breathed into her of Our spirit, and made her and her son a Sign to the whole world.
  और उस बीबी को जिसने अपनी अज़मत की हिफाज़त की तो हमने उन में अपनी तरफ से रूह फूँक दी और उनको और उनके बेटे को सारे जहाँन के वास्ते निशानी बनाया

• Let those who cannot find someone to marry maintain chastity until God makes them rich through His favors. Let the slaves who want to buy their freedom have an agreement with you in writing if you find them to be virtuous. Give them money out of God ' s property which He has given to you. Do not force your girls into prostitution to make money if they want to be chaste. If they have been compelled to do so, God will be All - merciful and All - forgiving to them.
  और जो विवाह का अवसर न पा रहे हो उन्हें चाहिए कि पाकदामनी अपनाए रहें, यहाँ तक कि अल्लाह अपने उदार अनुग्रह से उन्हें समृद्ध कर दे । और जिन लोगों पर तुम्हें स्वामित्व का अधिकार प्राप्त हो उनमें से जो लोग लिखा - पढ़ी के इच्छुक हो उनसे लिखा - पढ़ी कर लो, यदि तुम्हें मालूम हो कि उनमें भलाई है । और उन्हें अल्लाह के माल में से दो, जो उसने तुम्हें प्रदान किया है । और अपनी लौंडियों को सांसारिक जीवन - सामग्री की चाह में व्यविचार के लिए बाध्य न करो, जबकि वे पाकदामन रहना भी चाहती हों । औऱ इसके लिए जो कोई उन्हें बाध्य करेगा, तो निश्चय ही अल्लाह उनके बाध्य किए जाने के पश्चात अत्यन्त क्षमाशील, दयावान है
