  और जब मूसा ने अपनी क़ौम से कहा कि ऐ मेरी क़ौम तुमने बछड़े को बना के अपने ऊपर बड़ा सख्त जुल्म किया तो अब तुम अपने ख़ालिक की बारगाह में तौबा करो और वह ये है कि अपने को क़त्ल कर डालो तुम्हारे परवरदिगार के नज़दीक तुम्हारे हक़ में यही बेहतर है, फिर जब तुमने ऐसा किया तो खुदा ने तुम्हारी तौबा क़ुबूल कर ली बेशक वह बड़ा मेहरबान माफ़ करने वाला है
