  और किताबवालों में से कुछ ऐसे भी है, जो इस हाल में कि उनके दिल अल्लाह के आगे झुके हुए होते है, अल्लाह पर ईमान रखते है और उस चीज़ पर भी जो तुम्हारी ओर उतारी गई है, और उस चीज़ पर भी जो स्वयं उनकी ओर उतरी । वे अल्लाह की आयतों का ' तुच्छ मूल्य पर सौदा ' नहीं करते, उनके लिए उनके रब के पास उनका प्रतिदान है । अल्लाह हिसाब भी जल्द ही कर देगा

• Those who barter the life of this world for the next should fight in the way of God. And We shall bestow on him who fights in the way of God, whether he is killed or is victorious, a glorious reward.
  पस जो लोग दुनिया की ज़िन्दगी आख़ेरत के वास्ते दे डालने को मौजूद हैं उनको ख़ुदा की राह में जेहाद करना चाहिए और जिसने ख़ुदा की राह में जेहाद किया फिर शहीद हुआ तो गोया ग़ालिब आया तो हम तो अनक़रीब ही उसको बड़ा अज्र अता फ़रमायेंगे

• Verily those who barter Allah ' s covenant and their oaths at a Small price - no portion is theirs in the Hereafter ; nor shall Allah speak unto them or look at them on the Day of Resurrection, nor shall He cleanse them, and theirs shall be a torment afflictive.
  रहे वे लोग जो अल्लाह की प्रतिज्ञा और अपनी क़समों का थोड़े मूल्य पर सौदा करते हैं, उनका आख़िरत में कोई हिस्सा नहीं । अल्लाह न तो उनसे बात करेगा और न क़ियामत के दिन उनकी ओर देखेगा, और न ही उन्हें निखारेगा । उनके लिए तो दुखद यातना है

• Surely We revealed the Torah, wherein there is guidance and light. Thereby did Prophets - who had submitted themselves - judge for the Judaized folk ; and so did the scholars and jurists. They judged by the Book of Allah for they had been entrusted to keep it, and bear witness to it. So do not fear men but fear Me, and do not barter away My signs for a trivial gain. Those who do not judge by what Allah has revealed are indeed the unbelievers.
  निस्संदेह हमने तौरात उतारी, जिसमें मार्गदर्शन और प्रकाश था । नबी जो आज्ञाकारी थे, उसको यहूदियों के लिए अनिवार्य ठहराते थे कि वे उसका पालन करें और इसी प्रकार अल्लाहवाले और शास्त्रवेत्ता भी । क्योंकि उन्हें अल्लाह की किताब की सुरक्षा का आदेश दिया गया था और वे उसके संरक्षक थे । तो तुम लोगों से न डरो, बल्कि मुझ ही से डरो और मेरी आयतों के बदले थोड़ा मूल्य प्राप्त न करना । जो लोग उस विधान के अनुसार फ़ैसला न करें, जिसे अल्लाह ने उतारा है, तो ऐसे ही लोग विधर्मी है

• Verily We sent down the Taurat wherein was a guidance and a light. By it the prophets who submitted themselves judged those who were judaised, and so did the divines and the priests by that wherewith they were entrusted of the Book of Allah and they had become witnesses thereof. Wherefore fear not the mankind but fear Me, and barter not My revelations for a small price, And whosoever judgeth not by that which Allah hath sent down - those then they are the infidels.
  बेशक हम ने तौरेत नाज़िल की जिसमें हिदायत और नूर है उसी के मुताबिक़ ख़ुदा के फ़रमाबरदार बन्दे यहूदियों को हुक्म देते रहे और अल्लाह वाले और उलेमाए भी किताबे ख़ुदा से जिसके वह मुहाफ़िज़ बनाए गए थे और वह उसके गवाह भी थे पस तुम लोगों से न डरो मुझ ही से डरो और मेरी आयतों के बदले में न लो और जो शख्स ख़ुदा की नाज़िल की हुई के मुताबिक़ हुक्म न दे तो ऐसे ही लोग काफ़िर हैं

• And barter not the covenant of Allah for a small price ; verily that which is with Allah - - that is better for you, if ye only know.
  और तुच्छ मूल्य के लिए अल्लाह की प्रतिज्ञा का सौदा न करो । अल्लाह के पास जो कुछ है वह तुम्हारे लिए अधिक अच्छा है, यदि तुम जानो ;

• We sent down the Torah which contains guidance and light, in accordance with which the prophets who were obedient gave instructions to the Jews, as did the rabbis and priests, for they were the custodians and witnesses of God ' s writ. So, therefore, do not fear men, fear Me, and barter not My messages away for a paltry gain. Those who do not judge by God ' s revelations are infidels indeed.
