The future of any nation lies in the hands of its posterity. The quality of its youth determines the kind of future, the nation will have. The youth of any nation and society are its potential energy. They are powerhouse and storehouse of infinite energy. They are the ones who are pride of the nation .It is the youth which brings laurels to their country. Now let’s hit the nail on the head.

Youth power is believed to be one of the most important assets for economic growth. India has got talents in technology, innovations and entrepreneurial skills in tones but these talents alone are not going to heights of glory. It will only happen when entire population is empowered.

Looking at the current scenario, half of the country’s population is younger than twenty five. If we harness this power and direct the youth to the constructive channels, our country will reach untold heights. The creative potential of the younger generation coupled with their zeal, versatility and enthusiasm can work wonders for the country. We need to empower our youth so that they can make a better tomorrow.

Who can forget the great sacrifices of the young revolutionaries such as Rajguru , Sukhdev , Chandra Shekar Azad, Battukeshwar Dutt, and many morewho gave up their everything for countries independence .

They took those unforgettable steps as they had education (in one or other form). The best and the foremost way to harness our youth power is to impart such education which is scientific , logical , open-minded , responsible, honest and patriotic .Without these virtues being developed , our youth cannot walk in the desired way and they will remain in a deep slumber of complacency.

If not harnessed properly, this youth power can be destructive and can prove to be lethal for the country. Keeping an eagle’s eye on the increased crime rate, violence and terrorism, we realize that our youth is losing touch with the sense of right and wrong . This is because as a nation we have failed in our duty of capturing there energy and molding it in the right direction. We fail to help them in realizing their dreams and hence they get misguided and go in the wrong direction as the saying goes “An empty mind is a devil’s workshop” . The result is that nothing inspires our youth except shortcuts to making money and to achieve success.

If our country is so brainy then why isn’t our country developing? It’s because of brain drain. The opportunities that our youth get in other countries they don’t get them here. It is high-time to prevent the youth from leaving the country and break the backbone of all the stereotypes and mal-practices. Let us frame such policies which aim at empowering our youth.
