I was walking with my friend to the stationery shop; the primary purpose of which was to stay out of home for more time so that I could use my friend's phone to call him. I called him, and he picked up.

I said, “Hey! How are you?”

“Hey! How are you able to call me at this hour? It is 8’oclock.”

“I am out with my friend, so I thought of surprising you with this call."

“Well! I too have a surprise then. I am near your house, so umm if we could meet up.”

“Okay, wait. I will be there.”

I hung up.

My steps suddenly gained pace, and my heart was thumping hard against my chest. I was meeting him finally after a year. We had met online and had a relationship, but this was the first time I was going to see him for real. I called him again and asked for his location. I was afraid if I would be able to recognize him or not. The only place where I had seen him was his photos on Facebook.

I reached his location and saw him waiting. I was happy that I recognized him. I was nervous too, so I slowly walked towards him and looked at his smiling face. His face was bright, and he was wearing a white t-shirt which fitted him tightly so that one could quickly feel his muscles. His photos did no justice to his face. He looked more handsome than he was in his pictures and I wondered that this god in front of me was all mine. He brought his right hand forward to shake hands, but I had a bunch of chart papers and a few notebooks with me.

In a hurry, I gave my left hand in his right one. I didn’t understand why I had so many butterflies in my stomach, but he took my left hand, and we shook hands. I turned pink with this little contact with him. He introduced himself, and I wondered how was he so composed while I was so nervous. I couldn’t utter a word. Then we started walking, but I wondered what would happen if someone saw me with him now? My dad must have left the office, and he will use the same way as ours. I told him that I had to go already, but he insisted that I should stay for fifteen minutes but I knew that I couldn’t wait. I convinced him that I had to leave, and I left him there. But I felt something and so I went to him again and very lovingly said bye and came running to my house.

On reaching home, I saw that the doors were locked and no one was at home, so I took the keys from my neighbor and got into my house, locked the doors, and entered into my room. I stood on the bed, smiling and laughing, and then I started jumping. After all, I had finally met him, and then I lied down wondering how gorgeous he was.
