Avengers: Endgame

Goosebumps! No better word to describe the feeling after seeing the new trailer. Marvel dropped the new trailer today as a treat to all the salivating fans. To point out the obvious the first half of the trailer is covered in nostalgia of the founding members of the avengers, showing how marvel is now shit scared to give any fodder for the people to gather data and deduce what will happen.

But the biggest takeaway still was the white shiny unifroms at the end(which already have been leaked via the action figures, if you are in the loop).you may be tempted to think these uniforms are just an aesthetic choice, but I don’t think that’s the case. I think there’s an actual practical reason for the Avengers to pop these things on, and it involves travel into the Quantum Realm and/or through time.

It’s fairly well known at this point among the nerds that “Avengers: Endgame” will delve into some previously unused fantastical comic book mechanics to try to undo Thanos’ snap that killed half of everyone in the universe — specifically, time travel. And so they would likely need some kind of suit tailored to that use since that kind of thing isn’t an innate ability. Like how Ant-Man has to wear his suit that was specifically made for shrinking and enlarging himself if he wants to, you know, shrink or enlarge himself.

And if the Avengers are going to travel through time, perhaps by using the Quantum Realm as a shortcut (remember that line about a “time vortex” from “Ant-Man and the Wasp”), then it stands to reason that they would need special suits to actually do that.

I just came across this theory on reddit where someone suggested there was a Skrull in the midst. Captain Marvel introduced Skrulls in the MCU . I think this is setting up for the Secret Wars storyline. Someone we know is a Skrull. And I think it's Hawkeye or a member of SHIELD. Speculations are always welcome.

Lastly, If you can remember there was a theory going around that only 2 of the original 6 Avengers will survive at the end of Endgame. If you listen to the new trailer, you'll notice 4 of the original Avengers say the line, 'Whatever it takes'. The 4 that say this are Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye/Ronin and lastly Iron Man. Could these be the 4 original members that sacrifice their lives to save everyone? Chris Evans' contract is up after this movie, same with RDJ. The Russo Brothers said Hawkeye would have a big arc in Avengers: Endgame. The Russo Brothers also said Captain America: Civil War would prove to be a fundamental part in Endgame. The 4 Avengers that repeated that phrase in the new trailer happen to all feature in Civil War while the other 2 original Avengers (Thor and Hulk) that didn't repeat the phrase, are not in Civil War. Though this is a really far- fetched theory but with the quantum realm and multiverse theory, might as well bet on this. One can only wait. For the time being, SNAP.
