The Most Precious Gift

Time is the most precious gift given to us by God. And time is the perfect gift you can present someone. The time we spend with our loved ones can’t be matched with any other expensive gifts. A costly watch can get repaired. An expensive car may turn useless one day. Golden ornaments can get lost. But the time we spend with them can never be destructed. The time that we spent with them lasts in our memory forever. Those memories stay with us, even after they leave us. Those memories can’t be erased even by amnesia or Alzheimer’s disease. It can be invoked again by love and affection.

Quest for love and care

In an elementary class, the kids were asked to write what they wanted to become. Surprisingly, 80% of the students wrote that they wanted to become a smartphone. Do you know why? The students said that their parents spend more of their time with their mobile phones and not with them. They wanted to become like smartphones. At least then, their parents might spend time with them. This shows, what the kids really long for. They are not satisfied with the costly toys. Instead, they long for love and care.

Spending worth full time

Relationships grew stronger only when we spend worth full time with each other. It means spending a lot of time together alone won’t help us. It should be meaning full too. Parents should spend their time in teaching moral values to their children. Friends should spend their time together for their future up gradation along with having fun. Wasting time in gossips, criticisms, and quarreling won’t help us in any way.

These days we can see people working in abroad or in other metro cities, leaving their home town. They can earn a huge sum of money. But can’t regain the time they lost, being parted from their family. Their earnings alone can’t make their family members happy.

Designing your time

If you spend time with your family, your relationship gets stronger.
If you spend time with your friends, your friendship circle lasts forever.
If you spend time with books, you grew smarter.
If you spend your time with your passion and goal, you can taste the fruit of success.

If you spend time with God, you will attain the destiny of your birth.

So let’s not waste our time with gadgets. Let’s gift our time to our loved ones as memories. Let’s utilize the precious gift given by God.
