Kpop! Ever heard of it? No!? that means your probably living under a rock. Kpop is basically ‘Korean pop’ and yes, there is place ‘Korea’ but it’s South Korea not North Korea. There’s a difference!

I actually was under a rock till 2015 till I discovered something on youtube and pressed click and let me tell you ‘It was mind blowing’ like eating an ice cream or a cold ice smoothie when your brain freeze. That’s the feeling. It was something out of the blue, it was like my life took a complete turn, and there stood 7 good looking, dashing and handsome Men I have never met truly skilled, vocals on point, captivate dancing. But that’s not everything what got me was their music and lyrics. Although I did not understand any words they were saying I somehow felt as will they were speaking directly to me. That Boy band named none another than BTS. I know most of you have might heard about them. They are a kpop sensation as well as in the western country the group consist of 7 members, Jin, Suga, RM, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook. At that was just the beginning it didn’t just stop right there I supported them no matter what, although I did’nt understood what they said but I always understood their lyrics through translation and that was more than enough I learn a quite a lot about them. And as much as it sounds weird Korean pop is a lot different from our industry way more different they’re fan base is huge when it comes to their music. Every kpop celebrities are either solo singer or groups but mostly they’re groups from boy band to girl band. And each group doesn’t always has to have 4 members or 5 members there are some kpop band which has more than 10 members as much as funny, stupid as it sounds its actually quite clever. You see in Korean industry these groups are allowed to live under their company and are told to live in the house with all their members. Yes, you cannot live in your house but only until there group is quite famous until then they have live with their members, but the best part that these idols spending too much time with their members built a great sense of friendship with their teammates which I believe is not very popular in other western group. But mostly learning things through work hard and I’m proudly saying BTS is one of them, they not only taught me about the value of hard work and friendship but as well as to learn to love myself. They’re new album have come out “Love Yourself: Answer” you should check it out it’s worth a try.
