Study- a word that roams around us all the time. No matter day or night, happy or sad, all of us think about studies a number times a day. Studying is not related to students only, it is concerned with each and every person of the world. Students study to clear exams, researchers study for their research, lawyers for their cases and so on. It requires great devotion and concentration for studying, be it a book, a case, history or the current scenario. A person who studies well and possess knowledge is respected and admired by all.

It is always said that one must study hard so as to get a job and be successful. Those who don't study are considered and seen as cowards by the society. Our books never tell us to study them to earn or to get a job, though reading them or studying them gives us an upper edge but that matters only if we have studied them to learn and not to earn. The contemporary world has his own myth, "Study to Earn". If one doesn't possess good degrees from well reputed colleges, they are considered failures.

Is it right to relate education with earning? In my views, it's not. All of us must study to increase our knowledge and to add colors to our existing stock of skills. One must take good education as it teaches us the way everything goes around us. An educated person has an upper hand over an uneducated one as the former gets aware of the pros and cons of everything he or she does or gets into. But still one can't consider education as prerequisite for earning.

History is replete with examples of people who focussed on earning, though not possessing good academic qualifications, ending up as the richest ones of their time. There are also examples of people who focussed on learning and not earning, ending up as one of the most intelligent people of the world, say Albert Einstein, Chanakya, etc. A person with good knowledge can earn better than others as he has studied about the way of carrying his work.

Studying is way more than earning. Earning makes one self centered but studying makes one generous. One can earn sufficient if possess some skills, but if the person is studying for the sole purpose of earning, he or she, not explicitly is failing at studying. All of us must learnt that earning is a short process but learning is a never ending process .

Study to learn, not to Earn!!!!!
