Why "Binging On Netflix" Is So Popular

If you are anywhere between the ages of 13 to 19 or even older, there's no way you haven't heard about Netflix or similar websites like Amazon Prime, Hotstar or Hulu. Watching shows for hours on end on a streaming app can be so much fun and most of the times also involuntary. Most teens are addicted with no possible way out and that's totally fine.

While binge-watching series and movies on your laptop may affect your eyes badly, it however, also may not be that bad for the happiness of your heart. Netflix is the one stop shop to buy all the ways out of loneliness.

There is this one thing about teens. They may be amazingly popular but still incredibly lonely on the inside at the same time. Netflix is an imaginary friend that fills up the empty void and provides one with company and contentment. While the television is a friend that entertains how it thinks it should, Netflix is an even better friend that entertains the way you tell it to and exactly at the time you want it too.

People are personally connected to so many diverse shows and there is no way you can count the number of movies that one can always relate to. Netflix is that good friend that introduces you to other cool friends and now you are somehow the leader controlling the entire gang.

There is not one teen I know that doesn't like to lose themselves into a good 5-season-long-with-15-episodes-in-each Netflix show and forget about how their social reputation is falling apart on the side. It's a guilty pleasure you cannot help but go astray in. Often Netflix can become a comforting evening instead of an exhausting night out. There is absolutely nothing better than wearing your pyjamas and getting into bed with some chips and Netflix on your laptop. So when I say I'm ready and in full gear, I mean I am ready to relax with Netflix in some loose clothes. That is my full gear as I fight my war against the bad, repetitive thoughts with in-your-face colour and entertainment as weaponry.

Netflix is exactly what it says it is. An enormous library of flicks on the internet with something for everyone. Horror for the brave hearted, romance for the hopeless romantics and comedy for the chill minded. Netflix gives teens the warm home they seek in the form of endless distraction. Everyone has completely fallen for Netflix. Not voluntarily though. It tripped them with its ol' charming inviting ways.
