Draping Saris,
Tying Ties
Skipping breakfasts,
ostracizing merriment
Teachers scatter the sparkle.
Draining moisture in larynx
Drenching fingers in chalk dust
Controlling loud chatter
Standing for hours
Shattering nourished knees
Teachers feed us education.
Painting hair in beads of hardwork
Evaluating bundles of creativity
Sowing philosophy in empty vessels
Unleashing our shackled mind
Teachers build glowing castles.
Colourless rainbow never shines
Hueless blossom never blooms
Teacherless world never grows!
