The MG Hector is a five-seat midsize SUV that competes with the likes of the Jeep Compass,Tata Harrier, Mahindra XUV500, Hyundai Creta and Hyundai Tucson. The Hector is available in four variants: Style, Super, Smart and Sharp. The MG Hector is priced between Rs 12.18 lakh and Rs 16.88 lakh. The Hector’s standout feature is its large 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment which gets in-built internet connectivity, iSmart mobile application-based AC control as well as door lock and unlock. It is also equipped with a panoramic sunroof.
The Kona EV is a 5-seater SUV that gets LED bi-functional headlamps, LED DRLs and LED taillamps. It even gets a 10-way power adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support.Hyundai has equipped the Kona Electric with six airbags, vehicle stability management, electronic stability control, hill assist control, disc brakes on all four wheels, ISOFIX child seat anchorage and a rear camera too. The Hyundai Kona Electric has been launched at Rs 25.30 lakh in India.
It is available in two variants (XM and XZ) and is priced between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 10.09 lakh. Tigor EV is offered in just three colour options (while, blue and silver) and comes with a 3-year/ 1,25,000km warranty.However, the Tigor EV cannot be registered for private use as it is only available for fleet operators as of now. Tata has announced the prices between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 10.09 lakh.
The Jeep Compass looks tough but also premium. It looks modern, no doubt. the Compass is strictly a four-seater. The 4x4 variants get six airbags in total. Other safety systems like cornering fog lamps, rear view camera with display on the infotainment screen, rear parking sensors, manually-dimming IRVMs also add to the sense of safety. Prices for the Jeep Compass start from Rs 15.28 lakh and go up to Rs 22.79 lakh.
