Socially Unacceptable

From the day we met, till date the society never accepted us the way we are. Even after the government passed the article 377,the society still doesn’t see us as a natural couple. Why so? So, I travel here and there finding the answer to this simple question.

Although I know that their acceptance doesn’t matter to you, as you love me with all your heart. And theses walls between us can’t separate us. But I want the society to change their mind set and accept the change and remove the barrier of “GENDER” from the path of love.

And here is a small story I want the whole world to know about me.
Consequently, one day I passed by a lady, sitting under a cherry blossom tree and collecting the beautiful mogras on the ground. I went to her, and asked her if she needed any sort of help. She just replied, “I don’t want anyone’s help or sympathy. You may leave.”

I quietly followed her way, and landed up seeing her crying to a coffin, saying, “the world succeeded in separating us , but couldn’t end my love for you. I LOVE YOU and will always do!” Once the lady left I went to the name on the coffin, Ms. Chandler it cried. And that the day I got to know that we aren’t the only one.

There after I knocked her door everyday for a week to know about her past, and the story behind. As I could feel her. Finally after a long week of waiting I got to hear from her. She came to me and said, “ after today’s talk you don’t know me, neither do I.” I agreed to her terms.

She began her story. Ms. Chandler and the lady were in a student- professor relationship. One fine day during a personal doubt session they both fell for each other. And since then they started to hide their personal relationship from the entire world. And then it was 6^th February 2017,when they were into each other at a café and got caught, the people around killed Ms. Chandler and left the lady half dead.

She said this and left with tears in eyes, and I got to know that the society can never, never accept our relationship.

Even after the sanction of article 377, the society still holds onto the old school mindset.
