The rose garden of Rajasthan ‘Pushkar’ is one of the oldest cities in India. Including the memorizing destinations that Pushkar holds, it beautifies the charm of Rajasthan. Being a holy city for the Hindu and religions place where people find peace, it attracts a large number of Hindu devotees visiting every year to worship their Lords. The best time to visit Pushkar is from June to September(summer), October to January(winter).

1) Pushkar Lake: Pushkar lake is a major tourist attraction in India. It’s surrounded by 52 ghats and around 500 temples. The Hindus regard it as one of the five sacred lakes(Panch – Sarovar). The purity of this lake lets us explore much about the Hindu religion plus its beauty is incomparable.

2) Brahma temple: Brahma temple is dedicated to Lord Brahma( creator of the universe). Since it’s the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in India, it attracts a very large the number of Hindu devotees every year. The temple is believed to be 2000 years old.

3) Man Mahal: Man Mahal is very beautiful and one of the greatest palaces. It was built as a guest house of Raja Man Singh I. It’s now been converted into a heritage hotel known as RTDC Hotel Sarovar. It has the true and original Rajasthani texture and magnificent views of lakes and temples around.

4) Pushkar camel fair: It’s also called Pushkar Mela. It’s held annually following the Hindu calendar and starts in Kartik and ends on the Kartik Purnima. It’s one of India's largest camel and horse fair. Apart from this it also puts forward the multicoloured culture of Pushkar. The folk music, traditional dance and all the traditional events make this fair an all in one spot.

5) The Savitri temple: The Savitri temple sits on the Ratnagiri hill in Pushkar. Reaching there is sometimes a tough call but it’s believed that harder the journey, more the blessings received. The hill gives you a beautiful view of Pushkar city that you will surely fall in love with.
