With the new upcoming takes on fast food and its variety of snacks like the chicken poppers, french fries, chicken wings, nuggets and milkshakes people have long forgotten about the traditional ones.

With a lot of craze on these noshes being eye-catching and flavorsome in its own way, the world has lost its craving for the customary and long established snacks. Snacks are those scrumptious little delicacies that we have between our meals.

India is well known for its blend of spices and tangy food. Here flavors like- sweet, sour, salty and tangy seem to have a mini dance on our palettes. There are also many memories attached of our childhood like one of those rainy days when you were sitting on your front porch and suddenly there was an aroma filled in the air mixing up with the sweet smells of the earthy surface. You’d turn around to see your Dadi holding a plate full of her famous onion pakoda and you’d both spend all evening talking and gorging on them. These are those times which you’d remember and cherish forever.

Just imagine the quality time that you had spent over a plate of samosas with your family and friends laughing and chatting away. But those fast foods have certainly demolished these connections and health too. Whatever the junk food you might have could be one more step towards an unhealthy lifestyle. Though they might look intstagrammable and drool worthy, that shouldn’t make you risk your life, nor should you eat as if your life depended on it.

All most everyone in India goes gaga over it and you’d always see those stalls brimming up with dozens of people.

Since India is a diverse country with multi cuisines involved, there is an array of different snacks found all over. There’s the famous Dhokla and Kutchi Dabeli of Gujarat in the West, Boondi, Punugulu of the South, Kachori, Papri Chaat of the North and Momos of Sikkim in the East.
