We Bongs are foodies by birth. We love our food, and well, loads of them. While ala-carte is fine with us, it does come with limits. Here is where buffets come to our rescue. Sundays call for brunches and here is a list of 5 amazing buffets that the city has to offer.

1) Flame n Grill

Their buffet includes kebab starters, loads of main course non vegetarian items which includes fish, prawns, chicken curry, mutton biryani and around 7 different kinds of desserts which obviously makes this place a favourite. Their food has quality and menu is quite amazing. They also have a live chaat corner.

Price: ₹900- ₹1000

2) Oh! Calcutta

Oh! Calcutta is a tribute to the elegant Bengali cuisine and to the romantic city of Calcutta. They don’t provide buffets at all outlets but the Forum Mall at Elgin Road is an exception. Make sure you visit early because there is a long queue outside the restaurant, waiting to devour their amazing Bengali delicacies. Look out for the dessert, cuz it is Bangaliyana at its best.

Price: ₹800-₹1000

3) Barbeque Nation

Barbeque Nation has overtaken many restaurants, in recent times as the numero uno in the city. People are also served with one complimentary drink. Undoubtedly they serve the best buffet in town. Barbeque Nation offers a host of vegetarian and non– vegetarian buffets for its diners. Be sure to try its range of kulfis for dessert, specially the Paan Kulfi.

Price: ₹600-₹900

4) Haka

I know I could have included Mainland China for chinese buffet, but I personally believe that the buffet of the City Centre branch of Haka, serves way better Chinese food which is actually value for money. They provide a range of veg and non-veg starters with a main course collection worth every penny. Be sure to try their signature Darsaan with vanilla ice-cream.

Price: ₹600 approx

5) Sigree Global Grill

Sigree Global Grill is located in Silver Spring Club on EM Bypass,Kolkata and is the best place for all those people who want to try something different from the regular dishes and are barbeque lovers. They have a variety of buffets.Try booking before you visit to avoid waiting.

Price: ₹800-₹1000

There are many other buffets worth a visit like the Waterside Café, Mainland China, 6 Ballygunge Place and Rajdhani. Let me know if there are any other as I would love to visit. Thanks for reading.
