Nepotism is actually a unwanted or wanted activity in which a desirable person or probably your relative is promoted to a certain level of which he or she might or might not be capable of. Results often in wasting a great talent behind. Also to the tangent that it can lead to a lot of misconduct amongst fellow mates resulting in serious consequences.

This should always be kept in mind that power is not bigger than talent.
Well this is human nature this is an inbuilt activity since as humans we tend to put forward those who are a part of our family or are known to us since we feel that they will be beneficial for us. Thus this comes naturally and happens frequently.

The fact that is important and not to be done that nepotism becomes wrong and unacceptable when the least deserving candidate gets the job the and thr most deserving one looses it just because of that relation things. And this is the point when nepotism is criticized and hated amongst people.

Nepotism cannot be stopped since it comes naturally and a nature's call can never be stopped. But to alter the fact it can be moulded in an improvised version that nepotism should not lag behind the hardworking or the most deserving person.
