It was not just our female celebrities who needed to tone their body before entering into the glam world (some of which were covered in my last WrytUp) but some of male Indian celebrities too had to face the challenge of excessive fat on their body. Though less in number than their female counterparts the following male known faces had to struggle to make their way in front of cameras.

1. Arjun Kapoor

This bollywood macho man (son of director Boney Kapoor) was overweight and plump. He weighed 140 kilos before entering into bollywood when he was 22. It’s hard to believe that after witnessing his six pack abs body in Ishaqzaade. Right? He was asthmatic and sluggish before he met his inspiration who is the one and only Salman Khan. He could eat 6 burgers at once earlier but after adjusting his diet, he has lowered the sugar and high-carb food intake. He follows a rigorous workout regime with strong determination and will.

2. Adnan Sami

The “Lift karaade” famed Adnan Sami is the singer who ruled Indian music industry for many years. He used to weigh nearly 220 kilos before shedding kilos to stop at just 75 kilos in only 1 year. He consulted nutritionist for setting up his personalised diet. Sami needed to shed pounds faster and with proper training. His trainer started with his running for a shorter distance then converting to longer distance and also including other cardio exercises.

3. Jackky Bhagnani

Son of famous director Vahu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani weighed 130 kilos before he started doing his bollywood projects. For muscle growth and repairing, his diet includes high-protein food such as egg white, brown rice, and also sushi. He eats light but healthy. He makes his gym sessions fun so his workout has a mix of cardio, weightlifting and kickboxing. He has his own personal gym with all equipment.

4. Karan Johar

Filmmaker Karan Johar is a gossip King. He lost nearly 17 kilos in just 4 months. In an interview his fitness consultant talked about the secret behind this miracle. Karan completely ditched the sugar and carbs. Weight training and aqua workout was indulged in his exercising regime which karan followed with consistency. He ate a lot of veggies to get a toned body.

5. Anant Ambani

How many years you need to shed 108 kilos off your body? Well, this man did it in just a single year. Anant Ambani is Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son. He was determined to cut his extra flab of the body naturally and in a safe manner possible. So, he followed a strict diet and also he used to spend his 5-6 hours of a day in exercising.Running, yoga, intense cardi0 exercise and weight training were included in his workout regime.
