How to recognise how the healthy skin looks like:
The texture of healthy skin seems to be smooth and soft.
It contais no irregularities such asscars, blackheads or acne .
Rashes, redness, swelling and flaky skinare just few signs of unhealthy skin .
If anyone recognsies these signs,
he/she might get help early.
Many people believe that unhealthy skin is unclean skin, but this might not be correct in the above case.
The most common causes of unhealthy skin arrise from chronic dehydration, poor nutrition and poor blood flow.
These factors combinely reduce the oxygen and nutrient supply to the inner layers of the skin.
There the four components of healthy skin: hydration, smooth texture, normal sensations and even colour.
Hydration:
Healthy skin is full of hydration.
Dead skin cells are continously shed away, but we cannot see it from the naked eyes.
We've probably heard that one should drink eight glasses of water a day.
Drinking water is quite important for good health, but we do not need to do this. A good rule which was given by "thumb " is : drink half of your body weight in fluid ounces.
Smooth Texture:
The sign of a healthy skin is : it looks and feels smooth. If we look closely at healthy skin , the surface appears to be regularly irregular. This means that the skin is not completely smooth like glass.
It contain tiny peaks around hair follicles and pores, and tiny valleys in between the peaks.
These peaks and valleys are consistent throughout the skin, and provide non- uniform look to the skin.
The sign of an Unhealthy skin: It does not have a uniform texture.
It contains acne, blackheads, whiteheads, wrinkles and scars.
Normal Sensations:
We cannot notice it unless we look into a mirror. We cannot feel any unusual or uncomfortable sensations.
For example, our face feels dry and tight after washing it.
Dryness and tightness are such sensations that are unusual, and these sensations are tackled through the use of a cleansing product.
Signs of unhealthy skin sensations are:
Itching, Burning ,Stinging ,Pulling, Tightness.
Even Color:
The sign of healthy skin is - consistent colour.
The consistency of skin colour is considered to be more attractive than having a certain skin colour.
The key element of attractiveness is, consistent and even skin tone .
Unfortunately, even skin tone starts to fade with age.This happens because accumulatedsun damagestarts to take hold and create age spots and other signs of unevenness.
To prevent this from occurring, sunscreen should be worn on exposed body parts every day.
Examples of uneven skin tone are:
Blotchiness ,spots that are dark( light or red), dark circles.
Apart from keeping all the four components in the mind,it is also necessary to take a balanced diet daily.
This is because,the skin reflects the inner health of our body.
Along with it, to keep a skin healthy, proper cleaning, tonning ,and moisturising is vital .
These things help to maintain the skin fit and glowing.
