From jumping in the front of the refrigerator to get my chocolate box, to standing in front of it and moving my hand made wand with a hope that the spell works and I will receive the Hogwarts letter the very next day. It wasn’t a story that influenced me but the feel that created magic inside me. My childhood was blessed because Harry had a curse. Never did I know that something with such an unrealistic story would drive me this crazy that nothing else than it seemed real to me. Yes, Potterhead is what I am known as. In the world where science was given new shapes, I was the kid who wandered and waited for the Hogwarts school invitation letter, where the airlines got new companies introduced in them, I still checked if a flying car came to take me to the Hogwarts. It wasn’t crazy but it was a craze. A craze that made me feel that my childhood was blessed, it was magical.

Harry potter, an orphan who was locked by his aunt in a small room near the stairs, made me believe that magic doesn’t see power and money all it see is who is worth it. It not only brought me close to understand the word friends but also taught me how to reciprocate friendship.

It taught me that even two opposite creature can fall in love with each other.

It taught me that good soul may die young but the deeds they do are immortal. They taught me that a pure heart is far way bigger than pure blood.

It taught me that you may be witty, beautiful, rude, sarcastic, naughty, best magician, the purest one at heart all, at the same time. You are not to be laid back by criticism but to fly high with your qualities.

It taught me that responsibilities can make you do anything that you do not desire to do. It taught me that not all who do bad in a movie or life are bad at heart sometimes time and responsibilities compel them to do what they haven't ever thought of.

It also taught me that villains may stand in front of you disguised as the purest soul and your most trusted friend. It taught me that not the look but the soul of a person makes him/her beautiful. The sweetest voice can spell curse on you.

The best thing it taught me is, whatever the situation is you will always find your parents as your guide and strength, no matter they exist in human bodies or protect you as a magical soul.

Thank you cursed kid, you gave me the moral lessons of my childhood. The magic was not in the wand but it was in you!
