Oats contain important minerals, are naturally gluten free, easy to make, and helps in losing weight.
Though simpler to make we yet find no time to prepare it, especially in the morning.
So how about we try making them overnight so in the morning all we could do is only pick up the spoon and get going?!
Here's how you can do it.
Overnight oats in mason jars are trending these days.
Here are a few combinations that you can make.
A. Apple Cinnamon Oats
INGREDIENTS
1 Cup Chopped Apples
1 Cup Milk
1 Cup Chopped nuts
1 tsp Cinnamon
2 Tbsp Oats
1 Tbsp honey
Mix all the ingredients in a mason jar and store it overnight. In the morning it's ready to eat. You can refrigerate it.
B. Banana & Coconut Oats
INGREDIENTS
2 Sliced Banana
1 Cup Coconut Milk
1/2 Cup grated coconut
1 Tbsp Honey
2 Tbsp Oats
1/2 Cup Chopped Almonds
At the base of the jar add 1 sliced Banana, Oats, Coconut milk, honey and mix well. Store it overnight. In the morning add the gratings, almonds, sliced banana and mix well. Ready to it!!
C. Blueberry Overnight Oats
INGREDIENTS
1 Cup Chopped blueberries
1/2 Cup Blueberries
2 Tbsp Oats
1 Tbsp Honey
Sliced Almonds
1 Cup low fat milk
1/2 Cup Yogurt
Add chopped blueberries at the base, oats, honey and low fat milk, mix well. Add Yogurt and store it overnight. In the morning top it with fresh blueberries and sliced almonds. Ready!
