INGREDIENTS

  • 8 Eggs

  • 1 cup Condensed milk

  • 1 cup Khova

  • 1 cup Ghee

  • 1 TSP Cardamom Powder

  • 4 cups Sugar

  • Few strands of saffron soaked in a cup of milk

  • Handful of Almonds (coarsely ground)

  • 1/4 cup Wheat Semolina (Rava sooji) (Optional)

For garnishing:-

  • Sliced Almonds & Cashews

METHOD
1. Add half quantity of sugar to khova and blend it, along with cardamom powder.
2. Beat the eggs and rest of the sugar until they combine, add condensed milk, khova, ghee, ground almonds, saffron with milk, rava sooji and mix it well.

3. Grease a baking dish with some ghee and pour the mixture in it. Sprinkle the sliced almonds and cashews.

4. Pre heat the oven for 10 minutes at 180° C. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake it for 25 minutes at 180° C.

Insert a toothpick in the centre to check if it's cooked completely, if the toothpick comes out clean, then the Mithai is ready.

Let it cool for sometime and cut into desired pieces & shapes.
