The Inexistent Highway..(Ep-19)

She ran into the storeroom where the haunted painting was kept. However, to her surprise, it wasn't there. The notes were the last clue which could reason out all the situations that were going on. She took her car and went to Teerath, the place where she found the painter's house. It was possible to find a clue there. She reached the province and entered the painter's house. The house was vacant, paintings, statues that earlier covered the ground were no more to be seen. The house was empty, as empty as Reeha's mind. She had no idea how would this all end, when will things become healthy again. She gave up.

Several evil thoughts passed her mind as she moved from the painter's house to her car. However, fate had a different plan, and there was a note attached to the car's glass. She read the message ‘You are quiet smart, the answer that you are searching for lies beneath you, just think once and go ahead. Hope we meet again’. This time the note was short yet mysterious. The lines, did they mean something, Reeha thought. The truth that she was searching was beneath her, what did that signify. Reeha kept on thinking but ended up with nothing. 'Someone's playing the fool' she said to herself. Her eyes were wet, and she could find no way in which she could find help.

The note flickered in the air that came from the car's window. The breeze carried the letter along with it, and it flew outside the vehicle, Reeha got out of the car to catch it, but the wind was more stubborn. Reeha followed the note. After minutes of struggle, she finally found hold of the record. She opened it and reread it. However, this time it read different, 'Search beneath, the answer lies here.' She thought for a while. A light struck on in her mind, she gathered some wood sticks and started digging the ground right beneath her. Sweat dripped from her face, her hair became wet, but she continued piling up the mud. This all went for about two hours. She was tired, but she could not find anything. However, miracles happen when you don't give up, and Reeha didn't give up.

She found a tape recorder, but it was in a deplorable condition, it didn't even play. Behind the tape recorder was something else, something that shocked her. It was a body covered with a white sheet. With shivering hands, she took off the sheet and looked inside...
