The Inexistent Highway..(Ep-07)

He started shouting. ‘Reeha, who is he, he is trying to kill me, please call the police, call it fast.’ The doctor and Reeha both looked at each other. Reeha continued crying ‘Garang he is the doctor, you are talking about whom?’ Garang turned violent, he started slapping the doctor. Before he could cause more harms, the doctor injected him with anaesthetics. The doctor looked at Reeha who in turn was looking at him with hope in her eyes. ’Did you see doctor, what just happened, how to cure him? Please help Garang. ’ The doctor at first thought for a while and then replied ‘Garang is extremely stressed. I haven’t dealt with such patients but I know doctors who give stress relieving therapy. Once the therapy course is over Garang will be normal again. ’ the doctor replied while searching his phone ‘take this , this is Doctor. Prakash Mahur’s phone no. He will surely help you.

Also I have written some medicines that you are supposed to give to Garang on time.’ Reeha thanked the doctor when he left. She looked at Garang’s face and went in the kitchen. The kitchen was in mess and Ekshuk was cleaning it. ‘Where were you the whole day and when did you came inside the house’ Reeha asked him. ‘Madam I came when you were talking with doctor Saheb’. Ekshuk replied.

(The same night at about 11pm)
Reeha was in the kitchen and Ekshuk had left. She was washing the dishes and suddenly she heard noise coming from the bedroom where Garang was sleeping. The dish in her hand fell and broke to pieces as she rushed upstairs. Garang stood with a vase, the window of the bedroom was broken, pieces of glass littered all over. ‘Garang, what happened ’Reeha screamed. ‘Reeha there was someone standing near the window, he was taking my name, no hands, Reeha he had no eyes…no eyes…and..and I threw the vase over him and he disappeared from the window.’

Reeha looked down the window but there was no one.’ Garang there is no one here’ she moved towards him ‘you are extremely stressed; you even attacked the doctor today. He told that you are disturbed and you need a therapy’ she said. Garang looked at her and and in a crying tone answered ‘Why don’t you believe me it was all true..i don’t need a therapy I know what the hell is going on..’ . ‘Garang, I believe you that is why I am with you, I trust on each and every word that you are speaking. Once you will have the therapy you will be normal again.’ Reeha said with hope. ‘So you think I am mad, stress has made me lunatic.’ he said with anguish. ‘No, it’s not true but try to understand things will become more worse if you will not treat yourself. I know that there are things which cannot be explained but we can figure them out through therapy.’ Garang listened carefully to what she said. ‘Ok, fine we will go to the doctor but if such things continue, we will leave the house.’ Reeha agreed with a hope for improvement.
