One Hell Of A Ride...

When you take time to know someone, It's worth it. You know that fresh feeling you get when you meet someone new? It's so refreshing, feels like the smell of a new book. It's definitely a new adventure and opportunity. The amount of patience, love, care you pour into that jar little by little very carefully and the bond gets a strong foundation laid brick by brick. The way you care, so gently like the puppy you just picked up. The smiles, the laughter, every small action and gestures adds up the spice of the bond. You pay attention to the smallest of things, you observe a lot, you remember every line spoken out aloud. You slowly start understanding them and their perspectives, their likes and dislikes, their mood swings, what makes them laugh, their favourite genre of movies, songs, their favourite food, how'd they react to each situation. You learn how to handle them when they are down. Pull them up and cheer them up. Being the shoulder they could lean on to, being there 24/7 for them. The memories you create keeps playing on and on in your head, you cherish them, you keep them so close to your heart. Every little thing means a lot.

You try to make their life different, you make an impact in their life, you're different from the rest in their life. Song lyrics has meaning to it now, you act differently. You are happy inside out. You have someone who cares about you. You feel wanted and needed. You are taken aback by how one's mind works, the way things are differently perceived, how their character is very unique, how much they can make you smile and feel good about yourself. I guess everyone needs this in life. A little positivity, something and someone to look forward to everyday is all a human needs to be mentally healthy. When people could reach out for each other, invest time and memories in each other; it makes you calm and peaceful. You don't feel empty or lost. Obviously your happiness doesn't lie in someone else but in you. It does make a difference when you have a genuine person around you, pushing you harder, lifting you up and helping you out along the way. We grow each day, learn and experience something constantly, going through both thick and thin together. Holding on to each other through it all, that's a beautiful and constant relationship you can have with a person be it of any kind.

It's surprising to see that in a world where everyone is self-absorbed and selfish, there's hope for love, and the patience one puts in to know and understand one another.
