It goes without saying that from our very childhood we all are incentivized by our parents to devote ourselves heart and soul in studying . And this is how we all get involved in the rat race. Although my lazy spirit gets triggered after hearing the backstory of Jack Ma yet it is very difficult to stay motivated all the time. I know most of the students face the same problem. Well I recently appeared for the 10th ICSE board exam. Uh... What a back-breaking exam it was! However I tried a few hacks to keep myself motivated for the entire year and I am going to share them all now. Hope it helps you as well. Here it goes.

1. Take an oath everyday
This one is very interesting. This is not an idea which I took from someone else but it was something I started on my own. So prepare your own oath. Your oath must include your aims. Write all your failures and your drawbacks which will encourage you to work harder. Don't forget to mention about your enemies or haters in the oath and maybe the dirty tricks they played to pull you down. Be determined to take revenge by letting your success speak for you. List all the unattainable goodies you want in your life. Write about your parents expectations from you. Believe me this works miracles. So from today onwards take your oath before stepping out for your school or college and yeah, be loud enough to chase all the street dogs away.

2. Set a target

Studying aimlessly for hours together will not really help you because then you don't realize the vastness of your syllabus and keep chilling till the last day thinking a lot of time is there to study. So from the very beginning set your target for the coming month. And then accordingly prepare for the coming week and ultimately for the coming day. This helps you to study seriously from day 1.As a result you will be head and shoulder above all your friends in completing the course thoroughly. In this process you also tend to study for extra hours in the urge of completing the set target. Please don't cheat yourself and always remember hard work never hurts anybody.

3. Turn your weakness into your strength

While you are studying your mind must be with your favourite Netflix show or just the thought of talking to your best friend must be getting your adrenaline pumping. If it is so then congrats because you have a great source of inspiration. Let them all become your strength. Whenever you want to play or chat with your friends, sit to study and only on the completion of the portion reward yourself with what you wanted. This actually worked for me very well.

4. Listen to motivational speeches

At times we feel very low and want to give up everything. Well it happens very often, so don't worry. In such situation listen to the motivational speeches. Now it depends on you what type of speech motivates you the most. For me listening Tedx or the success story of the famous personalities were very inspiring. Also hearing to UPSC toppers galvanized me to work my fingers to the bone. Though civil service is not my aim but the kind of hard work the UPSC aspirants put in their preparation can motivate anyone to work harder. So you can hear to your idol whenever you feel tired.

5. Put up a goal board

This is very common and most of you must be already having this but still I am saying this again because it's very important. So hang a goal board near your study table or at a place where your eyes go very often. You can put all your goals and your dreams on the board. Basically this would remind you the reason of your existence and yes, makes you more focused towards your goal. You can put some inspiring quotes or your idol's poster to keep you moving.

It was all for this article. Hope it proves useful to you. Do comment if you have any such tricks to share. Thank you for reading my wrytup🙏💕
