Often does this question arise in the minds of people that why do we have to die one day? Why is it not possible to live forever? Why is it compulsory for us to leave our bodies one day?

If we tend to find the answer in the religious context, the sure shot answer that we are going to get is, “All that happens is the willingness of God”. Every religion has its own thinking’s. Christians believe that all that is needed to be understood by humanity is already included in the Bible and if it isn’t then it is not important to know. Many other religions also agree that it is God’s will, and no one can change it. Many even believe in the supernatural theories behind death that is, death happens because of the deeds that we did in our previous lives.

Talking to the scientists about this, they often think that it is because of the setting of the atoms inside our body that they wear out after some time and when they are not able to function any more, people die. It is also said that the consumption of liquor and inhaling the smoke from the cigarettes is bad for health as it destroys our organs, which can also be a reason for the death because our organs are delicate, and they are not able to bear the pressure of such harmful things.

In the olden times, many experiments were carried out to find if there were any ways in which death could be prevented and it was concluded that death is preventable. There were many things like penicillin etc. which could help in preventing death but till now, we are not able to develop a technology which could help in understanding the depths of the concepts like diseases, trauma etc.

Moving towards the history, Bible has a story to tell. It believes that Adam and Eve, the first humans on earth were given death punishment by God as a result for sinning against God. So, we being their descendants, have to die one day.

Every religion has its own story. Many theories believe that, after death there are two paths for the souls. The good ones (the one who performed good deeds) go towards the heaven and the bad ones go to hell. But none of the stories is justified because no one has seen the life after death.

However, no one has the true answer to the question “Why do we die?” so we often end the conversation and just believe in what is happening that is, “EVERYONE HAS TO DIE ONE DAY”.
