Copenhagen is the capital of Denmark and the most populous city. Along with this, the city is a perfect example of modern architecture and an exemplary urban culture. The royal black library with a whole wide new world of books and literature. The Maritime Museum, the opera house and much more to make us catch a breath. Apart from all this, it is also the best bike city in the wide world. And this is why:

The circle bridge:

This bridge was designed by a world-famous Danish artist, Olafur Eliasson. The architecture consists of five circles of five different sizes. The bridge stretches for 40 metres. It is a swing bridge and each circle contains its own mast which resembles like sailing yachts. The masts are connected through 118 metal wires. This is a perfect place for a bike ride or for a walk or to escape from a busy day. The view from the bridge is breathtaking. The park was opened in the year 2015.

The bicycle snake:

Cykelslangen or the bicycle snake is a 720ft bridge across the Copenhagen Gasværkshavnen. It was designed by Dissing+Weitling and was constructed by Ramboll group, an engineering company. It runs from east to west. It is a bridge separating pedestrians and bicycles. The pedestrians can walk under the bridge in the harbour front making it easy for the bicycle riders. The bridge contributes to the city's bicycle-friendly texture and makes bicycle riding fun and enjoyable.

Superkilen park:

Superkilen is a public park stretching for up to 750 metres and covering an area of about 30000 sq. metre. The park is exemplary when it comes to diversity. It is scattered with street furniture from over 60 countries like the Moroccan fountain, the Japanese sculpture and many more. The park is split up into three parts: red square, black market and green park.

Red square:

The red square, painted in red, orange and pink, has an essence of modern art. This part consists of benches and random street lights and a red road to pass by with shrubs planted then and there.

Black market:

The black market is the meeting place of people in the neighbourhood. It is the centre and is a square with a fountain in the middle. It has barbecue grills and palm trees.

Green Park:

The green park, as the name states, is entirely filled with trees and grass and all that is green. It is the best place in the park for picnics and walks.
